"The best employer" - the deserved title "Mayak"

Following the results of the XIV regional contest of social achievements "Changing the World" Mayak Production Association was again recognized as the winner in the nomination "The Best Employer".

On the social policy of the enterprise, the correspondent of "VM" talks with the acting deputy general director for personnel management, the chief of the service, Alexander Slavin.

- Alexander Vyacheslavovich, "Mayak" not the first year becomes the winner of the regional competition of social achievements "Changing the World" in the nomination "The best employer". What is the secret of such a stable success?

- I think that the company's team constantly poses new tasks and high-class professionals who not only pass on the best traditions of nuclear production and science from generation to generation, but also constantly improve their skills. To attract and retain highly qualified specialists, especially young ones, to increase the attractiveness of Mayak as an employer, the company provides serious social support to employees, members of their families and non-working pensioners. At the heart of the implementation of our social policy are the principles of transparency, accessibility and effectiveness. Today the enterprise successfully implements seven corporate social programs:
- sanatorium and resort treatment of workers and their children, children's rest;
- voluntary medical insurance;
- assistance to workers in improving housing conditions;
- assistance to employees in certain life situations;
- non-government pension provision;
- support for non-working pensioners;
- organization of sports and cultural events.

All social programs are developed in accordance with the "Unified industrial social policy of the State Corporation Rosatom and its organizations."

I believe that "Mayak" has deservedly earned the title "Best employer" for the last several years, because the social package of "Mayakovka" is competitive with the best enterprises of the region. To fulfill social obligations to employees and non-working pensioners, the company annually spends more than 400 million rubles.

- And in 2016 there were some changes in the social policy of the enterprise?

- We are constantly looking for new approaches and mechanisms for providing social benefits to employees and veterans of the enterprise and improving existing social programs. First of all, I remind you that since January 1 of the last year each "Mayakovsky" has a policy of voluntary medical insurance, which makes it possible to receive medical assistance in excess of the territorial programs of compulsory medical insurance. Today, our employees are provided with timely and quality services both in the medical institutions of Ozersk, and in the clinics of Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg and Moscow. Based on the results of the feedback, the employees of the company note the importance and vital necessity of the voluntary health insurance program, make proposals for its further expansion.

In 2016, changes were made to the corporate social program "Assisting employees in certain life situations":
- the list of dental clinics where the worker can receive services on prosthetics of a teeth is expanded (prosthetics can be made in any stomatologic clinic of Russia having the corresponding license);
- introduced a new type of assistance - material assistance to young professionals for the arrangement of life;
- increased from 15,000 to 20,000 rubles the amount of material assistance to the relatives of the employee in the event of his death;
- on the principle of "one window", assistance is provided to parents on leave without pay to care for a child under the age of three.

To ensure the availability of mortgage loans to participants in the Mayak housing program, effective January 1, 2016, the amount of interest-free targeted loan provided by the enterprise has been increased from 450,000 to 600,000 rubles.

Amendments were also made to the provision on non-state pension provision for our employees: in order to increase the material support of employees who conscientiously worked in the organizations of Rosatom State Corporation and went on deserved rest, in 2016 the corporate contribution of the company under Program No. 2 was increased from 5200 to 8000 rubles.

I want to note that a lot of changes in the current social programs are made on the proposals of the employees of the enterprise. Feedback, initiatives and feedback from the "Mayakovtsy" are very important for us. Within the framework of the annual audit of the social package, employees are questioned, the results of which are taken into account when forming the budget of the company's social expenses. Today, employees have the opportunity to ask questions and receive a response at a social forum (the intranakordal site of the Mayak software, the social policy section, the "Thank you for your questions and suggestions" rubric). Suggestions can also be left in the boxes "We are waiting for your suggestions" in the department of social development.
