News FSUE "PA" Mayak"

The first all-Russian forum "Mentor-2018", aimed at the development of a professional mentoring environment in Russia and organized by the Agency for strategic initiatives, was held from 13 to 15 February in Moscow. It brought together several thousand people involved in mentoring practices: existing mentors at production enterprises, representatives of HR departments of major state and business corporations, Federal and regional authorities, employees of commercial organizations and educational institutions.
In the framework of the forum "Mentor-2018" was held the contest "Best practices of mentoring" aimed at the development of the mentorship movement. In total, the competition received more than four thousand applications. General Director of "Mayak" Mikhail Pokhlebaev reached the final in the personal nomination "Head". An obligatory condition for nomination in this category was the direct participation of the head of the company in mentoring. General Director of "Mayak" presented the project of creating an effective leadership team OLYMPUS in the "Mayak" dedicated to the coaching of leaders, developing their leadership skills and personal growth. Collected during the competition and ready to replicate best practices and successful solutions in the field of mentoring will be implemented in the regions of Russia.
The first Deputy head of the presidential Administration Sergey Kiriyenko and Director General of the state atomic energy Corporation Rosatom Alexey Likhachev took part in the awarding ceremony of the winners of the contest "best mentoring practices". "A coach cannot be on official duties or on order for financial incentives. It is something more," said Sergei Kiriyenko. In his opinion, active development of digital technologies and unhindered public access to information will not replace human contact with a mentor. "What would not have a unique computer program, no matter what new features we didn't open a big data and artificial intelligence, all the same skills, knowledge, especially the values that are passed from person to person," – said Sergey Kiriyenko.
